As the current semester starts to approach its mid-way point, it is time again to look ahead to preparing for your upcoming registration. There are several things you can do to lay the proper groundwork for your registration.
Might you have any non-academic holds that will prevent you from registering?
Please be sure to pay any library or parking fines that you may have. If you have not submitted your immunization records or replied to a notice about a missing transcript, please be sure to do so or there will be a hold on your registration. If you received a notice about needing to have your current mailing address verified, that will also need to be finalized at the Office of the Registrar before you can register.
Might you have any academic holds that need to be lifted?
If you are on Probation or Restriction, visit the Advising Center in Chambers Hall 109 so that your hold can be lifted. If you still have developmental coursework that needs to be completed, you will also need to have your hold lifted. Visit the Advising Center during its regular business hours to do so.
Take advantage of the online resources available to you prior to registering
Visit the Academic Advising Website or the MCC Guide to Self-Advising for a great deal of general information about registering for classes. If you are unsure of the courses you need, review your curriculum requirements through "Degree Evaluation" in your WebAdvisor account. You are also most welcome to address your advising question by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org through your CampusCruiser account.
Best wishes during the upcoming registration process!
