Accelerated Courses (Courses in 7 Weeks)

Middlesex County College offers students an opportunity to take some classes in a 7 week format. These classes include Student Success 101, History of Western Civilization I, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Psychology.

These classes move more quickly and also provide you with an opportunity to take a second course in the other 7 weeks. Do you think these courses fit your learning style?  Might you benefit from a course that allows you to earn three credits in a faster period of time? New General Education Science Elective--Historical Geology: Diamonds Drilling and Dinosaurs (SCI 162)

SCI 162 (Historical Geology: Diamonds, Drilling and Dinosaurs) is a new three credit General Education Science elective. This course provides comprehensive coverage of the geosciences, which spans from the formation of our universe to understanding the physical processes that affect the coastlines around the world. The principles of geology and earth sciences are used to demonstrate to the student that the geosciences are involved in every aspect of their daily lives and to make the students aware of the role geosciences play ins society both economically and physically.
