New Psychology Course--Research Methods in Psychology (PSY 218)
Have you ever been curious about how psychology studies
have been conducted? What makes good studies and what makes bad
studies? Have you ever wanted to design your own psychology study, but
didn't know how to get started? In this new course, we will be answering
all of those questions, and more! Research Methods in Psychology (PSY 218) will
introduce you to the research process that psychologists use to answer questions
about people and their behavior. We'll also talk about how findings from
research studies (both in the past and present) can be misleading or confusing.
By the end of the semester, you'll be able to know ways to conduct good
research.
