Academic Advising Overview for Liberal Arts Music (LAMUS.AA) Majors

New Psychology Course--Research Methods in Psychology (PSY 218)


Have you ever been curious about how psychology studies have been conducted? What makes good studies and what makes bad studies? Have you ever wanted to design your own psychology study, but didn't know how to get started? In this new course, we will be answering all of those questions, and more! Research Methods in Psychology (PSY 218) will introduce you to the research process that psychologists use to answer questions about people and their behavior. We'll also talk about how findings from research studies (both in the past and present) can be misleading or confusing. By the end of the semester, you'll be able to know ways to conduct good research.
