Challenging the Next Level of Developmental Math

Students who successfully complete (grade of "C" or higher) a developmental math class are permitted to challenge the next level.

Students who receive a grade of "C" or higher in MAT 010 are permitted to challenge MAT 013 once. Students who receive a grade of "C" or higher in MAT 013 are permitted to challenge MAT 014 once.

Once your grade has been entered on your transcript, you can visit the Testing Center (except for Thursday) to take a challenge test for the next level of developmental math.  If you successfully challenge that next level, you can visit the Advising Center to adjust your schedule accordingly.

Please be sure to prepare for your challenge, however.  Visit the Testing Center Review Material Page for sample review questions.
